Heavy Rain and Threat of Flash Flooding is headed to Lincoln County

Heavy Rain and Threat of Flash Flooding is headed to Lincoln County and surrounding counties Friday through Monday

CURRENT WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES: Weather Prediction Center slight risk of excessive rainfall Friday into Friday night, and a moderate risk Saturday into Saturday night.

A cut-off low bolstered by tropical moisture will slowly approach the region this weekend, bringing a humid air mass and rounds of heavy rain with isolated flooding and flash flooding possible.

Heavy Rain is expected to begin Friday and last through Monday or Tuesday.

Heavy rain and isolated flooding is possible everywhere within the Upstate of South Carolina into the North Carolina region, but most likely near the escarpment including the North Carolina foothills and southwest mountains.
