Two People Indicted by Lincoln County Grand Jury on Drug Charges Arrested

Lincolnton, NC –

Two people indicted by the Lincoln County Grand Jury on July 29, 2019, have been arrested.

Nathan Kenneth Black, 24, of Beaumont Lane, Lincolnton, NC, and Tevan Montez Ikard, 26, of Hudson, NC were indicted on separate drug charges.

Black received a true bill of indictment for two counts of selling methamphetamine to an undercover officer. He was arrested on August 5, 2019, and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $30,000 secured bond.

Ikard was indicted for selling cocaine to an undercover officer. He was also indicted on two counts of trafficking in cocaine by selling more than 26 grams of cocaine in an undercover purchase. Ikard was also arrested on August 5, 2019, and jailed under a $115,000 secured bond.

The Lincoln County Grand Jury also issued true bills of the indictment involving illegal drugs on a total of 19 people. The charges stem from traffic stops, probation searches of homes, consent to search residences and other undercover operations.
