Lincolnton, NC ( L Town Radio / Valerie Cook ) –
Amid the madness of the current world situation, who wouldn’t love visiting an old fashioned General Store? Folks in Lincolnton can do just that without having to drive very far. Burton Farms General Store celebrated its opening day today. Owners Johnathan & Liza Burton had such success with their Newton location (which opened Spring 2019), that they decided to open a second location. This newest business in downtown Lincolnton is located right on Main Street.
Kelly Motz states that the owners wanted to open a location in Lincolnton for several reasons. One of those reasons is that it is closer to their farm in Vale. They also noticed that a lot of their customer base in Newton was from Lincolnton. The Main Street location will also put them in the heart of Lincolnton’s many festivals and events that are heavily attended.
Burton Farms General Store carries many locally made items. From soaps to honey to meats to florals, almost all of the items in their store are sourced from local farms and artisans. This helps stimulate the local economy; and also ensures that your produce is as fresh as possible. They have a wide selection of produce, meats, jams, and more.
If you are out-and-about (safely, of course), be sure to visit Burton Farms General Store. Not only will you be welcomed like you are family; but you will find some great deals, and even better plants and produce! Located at 317 East Main Street in downtown Lincolnton, they are open Sunday – Friday from 10 am to 8 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm. There’s sure to be something for everyone!
