Lincolnton, NC ( L TOWN RADIO)–
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators arrested two people today on drug and stolen gun charges.
Following complaints and tips from the public, narcotics investigators began surveillance of a residence in the 2100 block of Swanson Road in Crouse, NC. The investigation developed enough information to secure a search warrant which was executed at the residence today.(June 11, 2019)
During execution of the search warrants officers seized 25 grams of methamphetamine valued at $700, two stolen guns and drug paraphernalia.
Savannah Lee Ann Goins, 18, of 2192 Swanson Road, Crouse, NC was charged with felony possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Schedule II controlled substance, buying and receiving stolen property, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She is jailed under a $10,000 secured bond.
Jeremy Neal McDougal, 29, of Lincolnton, NC was charged with felony buying and receiving stolen property, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Schedule II controlled substance, three counts of possession of a firearm by a felon and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Harven A Crouse Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
A first appearance for Goins and McDougal will be on June 12, 2019 in Lincoln County District Court.
